• 2008 marks the second year of Sarnia's newest festival.• The
Sarnia Short Film Festival is poised to be South Western Ontario's
major annual short film festival, and is open to everyone, including
filmmakers who reside outside of Lambton County.
• The Festival will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM with looped screenings of each film at the following four locations: Coffee Lodge at Exmouth; Coffee Lodge at Finch; John's Restaurant on London Line; Ups 'n Downs on Front. A one hour showing of the festival's winning films will be held from 8:00PM to 9:00PM at Ups 'n Downs. • Admission to the Festival is free. • Prizes will be awarded for the Festival's three best films as determined by the viewers. • Deadline for entries is Friday, September 19, 2007 at 5PM. No Exceptions. • Mail submissions to: Sarnia Short Film Festival, 179 Christina St. N., Sarnia, On., N7T 5T8 • A $20 entry fee allows entrants to submit as many original films as they wish. Make cheques payable to Storyboard Solutions. (Entry fee is not refundable) • Entries are to be submitted on MiniDV tape or DVD. |
